Consultation update

Thanks for all the input so far into the website consultation.  We’ve been asking you, offline and online:

  • what you think of the structure and navigation
  • whether you can easily find out how to complete five scenarios
  • your views on the initial design.

403 people have so far carried out the wire frame testing and another 90 have commented on the designs and structure.  We have been tracking the areas of the site which are being clicked on the most by way of a heat map (see below).  It allows us to see which areas of the navigation are attracting most interest and being most used.   That, together with feedback from users, allows insight into whether the navigational structure is user-friendly and intuitive.

We have also done consultation at  Strood Library, Employ Medway and the All Saints Sure Start children’s centre.  Responses have been very positive and will be published soon.

Internal open consultation has taken place in the Sunlight Cafe at Gun Wharf and the Civic Centre.  We have also spoken to members, we have met with or arranged meetings with the council’s forums, service area teams and all management.

We have approached many other groups in Medway to seek consultation and are trying to get as many opinions as possible before the end of May.  If you would like to have your say please get in touch with rachel.curtis@medway.gov.uk
